This review systematically explores the existing literature on the management of photovoltaic operation and maintenance.
1 Introduction This guide considers Operation and Maintenance (O&M) of photovoltaic (PV) systems with the goal of reducing the cost of O&M and increasing its effectiveness. Reported O&M costs vary widely, and a more standardized approach to planning and delivering O&M can make costs more predictable.
This work intends to make a review of the photovoltaic systems, where the design, operation and maintenance are the key points of these systems. Within the design, the critical components of the system and their own design are revised.
In literature, three general maintenance strategies for solar PV systems are mentioned: corrective, preventive, and predictive maintenance.
